PUSHING THE BOULDER

So hard at times to keep the moment-um going.
One slip, one day, quickly turns into 2,3,4 days
and always so much harder to begin again
and not feel like you have somehow failed.

Better still to keep pushing that boulder up the hill.

There will be times when you hit a rock
An impediment in your path
For such is life, and how,
without such snags and curses
would we ever learn to do anything
other than blandly go
where someone else has already been before?

So push that damn boulder
and give it your very best
Each roll and each snag
and each work-around
leads to greater roll!

And if you find yourself stuck
for a day, a week, a year or even a lifetime.......
Then don't ever forget the joy and the wonderment
of what comes in your heart
as you remember the feel of pushing
your own damn boulder ..........

And so to begin again!
For why else are we here my friend?
